Hear Me Father

“Thinking on the difficulties and pressures of life and knowing where to turn for help, I thought I would write a prayer in verse. This is it.”

Hear me Father as I pray,
Hear me on this troubled day,
Help me with each choice I make,
Help me please, each step to take.

Help me centre thoughts on You,
Help me keep my goals in view.
Strengthen me when I am weak,
Guide me to the truths I seek.

Forgive me when I’m feeling low,
I should rejoice for what I know.
But I am weak and need Your arm
To lean upon, and shield from harm.

Hear me Father as I pray,
Strengthen me in every way.
Be my light that I may see,
The glorious plan you’ve given me.
